Wedding Planning. It’s fun, exciting, stressful, and crazy all at the same time. You’re able to put together your dream wedding day and make it exactly how you pictured. With all of the moving parts that come with crafting your perfect vision and making it a reality, there’s bound to be stress that comes. There will be bumps in the road and some indecision.

So, I thought today, I’d pop in with some of the tips I’ve learned over the years as a wedding photographer! These tips will hopefully be super helpful to you all and help settle the craziness of wedding planning. If you’d like to keep on reading, be sure to scroll down below for more.

Hire a planner

If you are able to, hire a planner! Having a wedding planner to help you along the way is the best thing you can do for yourself and your partner. Your wedding planner will help you coordinate everything and answer all questions you might have.

Give yourself plenty of time

Try to schedule your wedding at least a year in advance so you have plenty of time to plan it. This will help you find all your vendors ahead of time before they get booked up for the wedding season. The earlier you start planning, the better!

Don’t hold back on questions

Be sure to ask your vendors ALL the questions. No question is dumb and it’s so important to have all the information you need for your wedding day at your fingertips. These are big investments you’re making for a once-in-a-lifetime day, it matters!

Wedding websites

A wedding website is a site that you and your partner can put together with all the information about your wedding day. Wedding websites can help so much to track your rsvp and get important info to guests. It’s also an easy way to share your registry with your guests too!

Focus on the big picture

When you start to get stressed, remember that, at the end of the day, all that matters is marrying your person! Do not worry about the little things because everything will come together perfectly.
