Capturing this winter elopement with Kyle and Abby was such a dream. Winter elopements are always so magical, the snow covering the ground always adds a little bit of spice to the photos. I photographed them in multiple locations capturing portraits for them in celebration of their big day.
The cool thing about your wedding day is that it can be whatever the heck you want it to be. If you want a big ceremony surrounded by family and friends, go for it. If you want to run off to the mountains and elope just you and your partner, you can! It’s YOUR day and you get to dictate exactly how it will be. Regardless of everyone else’s opinions.
Their elopement was quite an adventure as we were originally supposed to go somewhere else but the weather had other plans. There was an unexpected snowstorm which led us to the elopement in the snow. It ended up working out even better than I imagined in this way.
I feel so honored that they chose me to capture such a sweet and meaningful piece of their happily ever after. Enjoy looking at some of the photos from their day, it was just as fun as it looks(;.
