Carol and I have been good friends since her teen years, so you can imagine my excitement when I had the opportunity to photograph her and Joao. I’ve been wanting to do a couples shoot at Artist Uprising studio in Richardson right off of HWY 75 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. With all the rain we’ve been having in DFW it was the perfect day to try out a studio session. Even though it was cloudy and light showers outside literally all day (and all month) the lighting was soft, diffused, and just right for the session.
Even though Carol and I have been friends for years it was my first time meeting Joao. They truly are the sweetest and goofiest couple who compliment each other perfectly. I quickly noticed how Joao would smile when he would look in Carol’s eyes or how smitten Carol was around him. I couldn’t be happier for my dear friend and I’m excited to see where their journey will take them. I’m beyond happy that God made them cross paths!
